Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Two preferences are kept in local storage instead, and neither is ever sent to a server.

No cookies are set
Not for sessions, not for preferences, not for measurement. There is nothing to accept, which is why you have not been asked to accept anything — a banner demanding consent for cookies that do not exist is theatre, and it trains people to click through the ones that matter.
What is kept instead
Two values, in your browser’s local storage, each written only when you choose something:
wattclear-theme— light or dark theme.wattclear-privacy-choice— your advertising privacy choice.
The difference from a cookie is not cosmetic. A cookie is attached to every request your browser makes to the site, so a server sees it whether or not it asked. Local storage is never transmitted: these two values are read by the page you are on and go nowhere else.
Clearing site data in your browser removes both. The site works without them — it will simply follow your system theme and treat your privacy choice as unmade, which is the stricter of the two readings.
If advertising is switched on
No ad network is configured today, so no third-party script runs and no third party can set anything. When one is switched on it will set its own cookies under its own policy, this page will be rewritten to name them, and no script will load until a privacy choice has been recorded. The privacy page describes that choice and how Global Privacy Control is honoured.
