What published electricity plans cost, state by state
By Alex Reyes, founding editor · Published · Figures from data retrieved
At 1,000 kWh a month, the median published plan a household can take costs $4,570 a year in California and $1,133 in Ohio, across 18 states. These are not state averages. A state here is the published plans of the utilities indexed in it, each priced by the same rate engine at the same consumption, so every figure can be traced to a plan on the state’s own page.
