Electricity prices this month, state by state

Against June 2025, 46 of the 50 states and DC were dearer and 5 cheaper. The largest rises were in Hawaii (+29%), Idaho (+19%), Washington (+15%), New Hampshire (+15%), and Maryland (+13%); the prices that fell were in Connecticut (−11%), Massachusetts (−2.4%), West Virginia (−2.3%), Florida (−1.6%), and Arizona (−0.3%).

Every figure here is computed when the site is built, from the records named below, by the same code that fills the state, utility and cost-to-run pages this guide links to. When those records are refreshed, the figures change with them; the words around them do not, which is why no sentence here states a direction the data has not been checked for.
